MCCL’s Student Day at the Capitol
MCCL’s first Student Day at the Capitol is rapidly approaching on February 12, and we do not want your students to miss this empowering and educational opportunity.
Student Day is a unique opportunity for young people grades 7-12 to learn about the pro-life issue and pro-life public policy.
Dates: February 12, March 1, and April 23
(students can choose one)
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: State Capitol, St. Paul
The day includes educational sessions covering abortion, assisted suicide, current legislation, the legislative process, and lobbying techniques. Students will have the chance to meet their legislators, tour the Capitol, and hear from pro-life elected officials.
Registration is now open, and students can choose any of the three available dates. The suggested donation of $15 per person covers the cost of lunch. We encourage students and those in your community in grades 7-12 to participate.
MCCL will provide adult supervision, allowing parents the flexibility to decide whether they’d like to stay for the program.
