A New Year

We begin a new year.  Well, at least a new fiscal year.  Let me thank all of you who have so faithfully been giving to the church.  During this virus we have the ability to see God's gracious love poured forth on us, and all his children.  Most of our problems are first world problems.  Buying food.  Paying be credit card and then being able to pay that each month.  Staying close to home.  A home that has air conditioning and heating.  A home where we can sleep on a soft bed.  Maybe we even stop at a coffee stand to buy our daily fix.  Most of the rest of the world has none of this.  Just to survive every day is a battle.  I pray that all of us will spend some of our extra stay at home time reflecting upon the many gifts we have.  And become aware of our many sisters and brothers, some even in our town and area, who do not have ability.
