This past week we celebrated the end of year for faith formation by the annual closing Mass. We had Confirmation for our juniors from high school. We are in the middle of First Communion for over 90 children. All of these things are a sign of the parish moving forward. When a bride and groom are wed that is not the end of the courtship. It is the beginning of years of lots of hard work to make their love grow. We have had many Baptisms over the past months so our parish is growing as well. Despite the constant stream of funerals we have celebrated, each one has been a celebration of life for the person who has died. The ebb and flow of life continues. As a faith family we celebrate all who join our parish, including the littlest ones. We celebrate those who have gone before us into eternal life. They have been our witnesses. So as a family gathers for each of these important events, we gather weekly for the Wedding Banquet between Jesus and his bride, the church. Thank you for being such a valuable part of that celebration week after week. Fr. Mike
