As you read this, we now have one weekend left in this calendar year. While I stress the need to make a commitment to the parish of our time and being involved in the ministries that I enjoy participating in, it is also the end of the year in which to make a financial donation. We have many ministries for a wide number of areas that provide services to people over a range of needs. To do this well requires a considerable amount of money. This year our budgeted expenses will total just over $2 million. With Christmas falling on a Sunday this year, we have one less Sunday collection. So, this Christmas when you come to celebrate the birth of Jesus, I ask you to be aware of this shortened number of weekends and be a generous as you can. I know for me the giving has helped me see how generous God has been with me. Fr. Mike
