Advent Update

If you have been to a wedding reception lately how know how much the bride and groom have gone to great lengths to make sure everything is right.  What table each person and family is seated, the centerpieces, and multiple food selections and even the introduction of the wedding party.  What you may not realize is how expensive all of that is.  When the couple say they expect 150 people for the reception, the place charges them for 150 people.  Even if they do not show up.  Jesus has invited us to his wedding reception.  We are the bride of Christ.  Is is our responsibility to provide for that reception.  Do we invest enough to come or even help with the party?  That is Commitment to Parish Life.
