First, a big thank you to those who gave to replace the projectors. You may have seen the screens. Although they are larger than the old ones, there will also be more music per line. The new projectors will be laser rather than bulb orientated. Thus they should be brighter and more easily seen and read. Without the generous donors who gave we would have had to dip into savings once again.
As this is a new fiscal year I want to encourage you to look at your financial commitment to St. Joseph the Worker. We provide a wide variety of ministry opportunities. There are hundreds of folks who work in Faith Formation, hundreds who do great work in social justice, hundreds who work to make our liturgical experience as great as it is, and many more who work in Pastoral Ministry. Your gift of ministry is really what drives this community. Thank you for that commitment. All of these ministries work based upon the income necessary to provide them. If you are involved then prayerfully consider how your giving reflects your gratitude to God for the opportunities to serve one another in the faith community.
