Memories

So many of the funerals we have the children and grandchildren talk about the wonderful time they had with grandpa or grandma.  The things they did together are the things these grandchildren will remember forever.  When we gather at Eucharist I find it delightful to hear babies and young children talking, singing or even crying.  How we as a community gather around the young parents is encouraging for me as it says we know these children are gifts from God and we want the kids to know that as well.  That is truly what our Commitment to Parish Life is about.  Giving these children memories of how God's family always welcomes them to the table.
