Serving One Another

Summertime is when many people move into the region or change parishes.  This summer I have noticed that new people express the reason for joining our parish is the warm welcome they receive from other people in the parish.  They frequently ask how they might become involved in the various ministries.  What they are responding to is your investment and involvement in the multiple ministries.  Commitment to Parish life is about the mutual commitment we make to one another.  People in the parish are making a commitment to becoming active in one ministry of service to other people in the parish.  The parish is making a commitment to provide quality programs and ministries to parishioners.  The CPL concept is about serving one another within the parish and in our communities where we live.  It is also about making a commitment financial so that all of these ministries can work well.  Thank you for making your commitment to the parish of St. Joseph the Worker.  We look forward to serving one another.
