The octave of Easter

The octave of Easter lasts until this weekend.  This is such a huge feast for the church that all the joy we experience cannot be experienced in just one day.  It takes 8 days.  Then the Easter season lasts for many more weeks as well. Our Easter celebrations were like a huge family reunion.  There were many folks who came to celebrate with us.  Many of them talked about how welcoming you were as parishioners.  Thank you.  The atmosphere is one where everyone gives a bit and gets back so much more.  That is living out your Commitment to Parish Life (CPL).  Each one making a small contribution has a huge impact.  Thank you.  Fr.
