We are all called to serve

So it is a good time to recognize the many people who provide ministry at this most important time in people’s lives.  We have a number of women who work at preparing the meal, men that serve the meal and more people who come in to clean up.  This does not mention the number of families who contribute the desserts.  They do not see it as a job but more a ministry to families in their time of need.  It is all of these disciples of Christ giving of their time and talent to provide a real ministry to people.  There are also many who serve others at the actual funeral such as cantors, piano players and hospitality people.  It is another sign of their Commitment to Parish Life.  What is the sign of your Commitment to Parish Life at St. Joseph the Worker?
