We have just completed our annual Mega Pack for Feed My Starving Children. First I would like to thank the Egan Company for providing us great facilities again to do this wonderful venture. Secondly I would like to thank Roxanne Smith and her team from our parish who worked so hard getting this set up, coordinating with other parishes and organizations and the handling of promotions and advertising. Then I would like to thank the hundreds of parishioners who came out in the snow to help over the 4 days to pack so many meals. We do not have a final count yet and the number of people working was no doubt affected by snow. But this sort of event is one of the things we do as a parish in our commitment to one another as parishioners and to the parish. It is why we are recognized as the leader of community events in the area.
