Your Commitment to Parish Life in Action!

The Parish has just concluded our annual welcoming of Families Moving Forward.  For decades families in the parish have come together to welcome homeless families into our space.  Literally hundreds of you stepped up to welcome these families.  Many of you came to cook. Spend time with the families, do activities with the families, and keep our space a welcoming atmosphere.  Your response to Commitment to Parish Life is putting into action the faith we profess by reaching out to those who have no home.  There were families from the parish who brought their children to help as well.  In doing so we give witness to the call by Christ to reach out to those who are less fortunate then ourselves.  We also open the eyes of young people to just how much God has given us.  I thank you for your generosity of time and treasure to these families.  And the witness you are to the entire faith community by making actions that flow from faith a reality.  Thank you for the living sign of St. Joseph the Worker at work in the world.  Fr.
