ChristPower Mission Experience

High schoolers won't want to miss out on our summer mission experience, as we serve our local communities in very meaningful ways - while blending the week with the great activities you'd expect from a mission trip experience! That means engaging prayer experiences, fun games, free time and bonding each and every day, all while making a real difference in the community.

Plus we'll open with a day of fun games & bonding (at great sites around the Twin Cities), plus tons of fun afternoon & evening activities, like water games, music, prayer & more!

The cost for ChristPower is reduced this year as we relaunch programs - which means it's a great year to try out the great mission experience!

Volunteers from SJTW came together last July (2022) for the ChristPower Mobile Hope Mission. They provided help in a variety of ways to residents of the Mobile Home community in Dayton, MN - see the slideshow below! We will continue our partnership in 2023 with Mobile Hope.

Mobile Hope is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry that provides on-site direct services and resources for the residents of mobile home parks in Corcoran and Dayton MN.  They serve, to break the generational cycle of poverty and provide youth and families with tools to empower them toward upward mobility. Mobile Hope was formed on the foundation of our Christian faith, which compels us to both love God and love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40).  Their vision is to see all people, regardless of economic status or culture, as God sees them and honor Him by serving those around us.  This hope is clearly stated in their theme-verse of Romans 15:13 - "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
