One of central themes of scripture (and a pattern that has been demonstrated throughout human history) is that God desires a relationship with his people and consistently (and persistently) calls each of us into a deeper, personal relationship with Him. It is in this spirit that we are challenging the community of St. Joseph the Worker to reflect on their relationship with God and put into practice just-one-thing that will draw you closer to God, Jesus, or the Church.
Your one thing may be a big change, or something small. However the Holy Spirit leads you, the staff and community of St. Joseph the Worker wants to support you. Below we have listed several suggestions and links to help you find just-one-thing that works for you. If you need further information, suggestions or have any other questions please contact Barry Shay at bshay@sjtw.net.

What to do if it has been a long time since your last confession/reconciliation.
If you have not participated in the Sacrament of Reconciliation for a long time, you may not know where to start, be intimidated about remembering the “right words” to say or the prospect of cataloging decades of sins. If this sounds like you, I have good news! The overwhelming advice of priests (and even bishops) is…
"Just come. Don't prepare. We'll do it in there. I'll help you with this.”
Consider this your personal invitation to experience this outpouring of Christ’s grace!
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is held at St. Joseph the Worker each Saturday at 4:00 pm. Or you can schedule an appointment with Fr. Mike (frmike@sjtw.net) or Fr. Ron (frron@sjtw.net) at your mutual convenience.
