Mobile Hope Dayton is an important part of our local community. Along with providing affordable housing to vulnerable people, this program also helps educate, mentor, and connect them to essential resources. Below are opportunities to be the Church in your local community. Please visit their website for more information.
Homework Help
We are looking for volunteers to come to the Hope House Monday and Friday’s 1-3pm starting Sept. 28th. This semester we are going to be focusing on grades 6th-12th by providing space at the Hope House, encouragement and assistance if needed.
Journey/Treehouse
These programs are for 5th-12th graders. Students gather weekly for Support Group and Connection where relevant topics are discussed. A vital part of this ministry is mentorship, especially with covid and isolation becoming a reality. If you would be willing to help with expenses to provide a gift card to some of the hotspots with these youth enjoy going on one on ones it would be greatly appreciated. Chick fil A; Caribou; McDonalds; Taco Bell; Starbucks; Culvers; and DQ. Cards can be left at the Church office or mailed to Jill Dejewski at Hope Center 7900 Maple Hill Rd. Corcoran 55340.
ELL-English Learners
Currently we are offering online English lessons for adults. If you would be willing to be paired with another adult to practice English.
