About 15% comes from IRA’s. People have to withdraw from their IRA’s when they reach a certain age. I am there. But rather than take a distribution to their accounts, individuals can transfer it directly to the parish. So, folks do that and then rather than count it as income it is a donation. It is amazing to me that people think about this creative way to support the faith family they love and are invested in. How about you? How do you support St. Joseph the Worker? Beyond sharing your finances, do you share your talent or time with us? We need virtually every sort of talent. People like you step forward all of the time to work in Faith Formation, liturgy, and any of our social justice projects where we seek to connect people in need with our parishioners so that those in need have faces and names. Thank you for making this parish the vibrant parish that it is.
