More than money

You do this for your children and grandchildren when you buy specific school items and specific clothes for them.  In our Commitment to Parish Life it is important to get involved with more than money.  It means committing time and ability in the things we choose to get involved with so that we address specific needs.  In our shift away from just giving money we are establishing a situation where we might get to know more about the various agencies that support the dignity of each human person.  Not only do we help each person receive essential goods but we help them realize that they also have worth and value because they are God’s children.  It helps us recognize our sisters and brothers as part of our family.
