Season of Giving.

We are now entering the season of giving.  We give to many charities because of their need and it is the season of giving.  I want to thank you for your extreme generosity since this virus has begun.  I really expected a good size drop in giving but you have come through.  I would ask that you continue that pattern now during the giving season.  In our Commitment to Parish Life the staff has done an amazing job of liking at things to see how they can be done in this new setting.  It breaks my heart to not have the kids in Faith Formation in person.  I miss them sooo much.  I know they miss me as well because some of the littlest ones still insist upon a hug when they come to church.  Our staff has figured out a way to stream daily Mass and to put a Sunday Mass on our web site as well as on our Youtube channel.  We have given out backpacks to your youth in Faith Formation and backpacks for every family in the parish.  We have also been able to give out supplemental things for families to do.  We pray that you have taken advantage of these items because this gives you a great opportunity to talk to you children about why you believe what you believe.  And why that is important to you.  Many couples never do that until well into the marriage, if at all.  Your generosity towards the parish enables us to keep the staff working full-time and motivates them to find new creative things to offer safely.  Your gift of time to your family and to the parish are noticed.  Thank you for your continuing support of the parish.  Fr.
