This is a very busy time of year for everyone. There are plans for the holidays and then shopping for all those holidays. Many are having children preparing for school activities and programs. On top of that the church asks for things from us to including money, projects and gifts. Over the years it has been my experience that families of St. Joseph have responded to these requests from the church with amazing willingness. This year we have had special requests for blankets, coats and socks for vets and thanksgiving baskets. We are soon rolling into requests for gifts for families and children in need at Christmas time. One of the reasons we do this, I believe, is so many have come to understand the concept of Commitment to Parish Life. It is not just us as parishioners, but it is an understanding that as Christ on earth our responsibility in faith is to reach out to those in need. Thank you for your constant willingness to give to others.
