Together, we are the Body of Christ.

Sometimes while talking to children I tell them that their parents did not forget how to take the dog for a walk, set the table, take out the garbage or even how to make beds.  They are asking them (the child) to help because when everyone does a little bit the job of taking care of the house and the people is so much easier.  The same is true for the faith community.  I know how to say the prayers at Mass (at least most of the time) but it takes the whole community praying to make the presence of Christ more visible.  Commitment to Parish Life is about the whole faith community coming closer together so the Body of Christ becomes more visible.  I want to thank you for your continued participation in all of the things we have going.  Your efforts make Christ more visible to all who attend funerals, weddings, baptisms or who are just stopping by for a weekend.  Thank you for being Christ to others.  Fr.
