We now look at things and ask if the product is worth the cost. Jesus asked the disciples if they could drink the cup that he drank from. That represents the cost of being a disciple. Sometimes the cost is not money but is the price we put on ourselves for being what we are. Being a Christina costs us something in terms of what we do and say. At St. Joseph the Worker we have embraced the Commitment to Parish Life, (CPL) as a way to recognize our own cost to following Jesus. Are you willing to pay the cost?
