Your faith lies within you when you give to others.

It would be easy to imaging that making a commitment to parish life would entail doing something in church.  But a parish is more about the people and events of our life outside of church.  We then bring those experiences to church in thanksgiving or even with questions.  You deserve a huge round of thanks for your generosity for giving for the Thanksgiving baskets and now for our Christmas outreach.  In this time when so many are in need you have reached deep into your pockets and provided many gifts for children and money for the Christmas Outreach.  Christmas is a time to give God thanks for the blessings we have received, and to share those blessing with others.  You have really made a difference in the lives of so many people.  Probably without even knowing it, you have put into practice the church’s understanding of the larger family of God.  You are a blessing for this parish and for those whose lives have been touched by your generosity.  As you celebrate Christmas this year, smile a bit as you realize how deeply your faith lies within you when you give to others.  May your Christmas be a blessing this year.  Fr.
