Ten years ago the parish began to use the concept of Commitment to Parish Life (CPL) as our primary method for parish involvement.  We moved to the idea of people giving of their time and talent to enable our multiple ministries to thrive.

We have sent out the annual financial report from the parish.  If you do not have it yet, you should in a few days.  It tells you where we used your money last year and how we ministered to people who came seeking to be a part of this parish.

Many times after a baptism I am invited to the family’s home where a party is taking place.  Everyone wants to hold the baby so they are passed around.  I wonder what the sensation is for the little one.  All these strange voices.  All these strange faces.

Last week I spoke about the number of people who became a member of our faith family by making a commitment to giving back.  We have a wide range of ministries.  I am sure one of them would fit into your life style and make a difference in our parish.
