Listening Session at SJTW:
Thank you to everyone who attended the Listening Session during the summer of 2014 to show support for survivors of clergy sex abuse. The survivors were overwhelmed by the attendance and visibly moved by the caring response of the audience. Many of those present expressed interest in taking action that would encourage genuine change in the church and end the abuse of power that has enabled the criminal sexual misconduct of priests and their protection by the hierarchy to go largely unchallenged for decades. Please remember: Every action, no matter how small, makes a difference! Add your voice to that of the survivors and be part of healing our church.
