Interested in the Catholic Faith?
Know someone who would like to become Catholic? Are you getting married and one of you is not Catholic but they would like to know why the Catholic spouse thinks that way? RCIA might be for you. RCIA is Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a process where the information and reason for being Catholic is shared among a group of friends and family. If you are interested, know someone who is interested, or if you just want to learn more for yourself, then this process can be a big help. If you or someone you know would like to join in this process, call 763-425-6505 and talk with Barry Shay. He will provide answers to many of your questions.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) may serve your needs if you are:
The RCIA is a process, a faith journey, which prepares interested people to become Catholic. It does this through a series of steps and stages. The process takes place in the Catholic faith community and provides experiences and opportunities to grow in faith, knowledge, understanding, and discipleship in Christ.
The RCIA process forms participants in the Catholic faith and practices through regular worship, ritual celebrations, prayer, scripture, learning sessions on Catholic beliefs and teachings, service opportunities, and retreat times. Those who have already been baptized may celebrate Eucharist and/or Confirmation and come into the Catholic Church whenever they are fully ready. Those not yet baptized come fully into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil (the night before Easter Sunday).

of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to carry out everything that I have commanded you.
And know that I am with you always, until the end of the world.”
